Meeting Point

We do recommend that you stay in Cappadoccia for at least two days– Three is better if you have the time.
Cappodocia is the name of a vast region and we recommend our guests to stay either in Göreme, Ürgüp, Ortahisar or Uchisar.
These small towns are the major centers of interest, filled with rock-hewn churches and are decorated with medieval frescoes.

Cappadocia is the most visually striking region in Turkey!

It’s a moonscape area where erosion has formed caves, clefts, sensuous folds in the soft volcanic rock… and of course “fairy chimneys”.

The remains of volcanic eruptions from millions of years ago , were shaped by the wind and rain. They have formed one of natures most spectacular masterpieces: strange rock formations, called “fairy chimneys”.

Beautifully colored valleys full of these fairy chimneys have been a fantastic stage for some of the most important actors of known history, namely, the Hittites, The Persians, Alexander the Great, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans.

Many of them still are decorated with the wall paintings from the early Christian times.

The fascinating landscape is perfect for hot-air balloon flights at dawn and later in the day, hikes in such places like the Rose Valley.
