Walks in Istanbul offers walking tours in all areas of Istanbul with any theme: Sultanahmet, Golden Horn, Asian Side, Beyoglu, Nişantaşı, Princess Islands, Fatih, Beyazıt, Bosporus… You name it; we have it.
We pride ourselves on our knowledge of very controversial subjects. No one else offers a tour of the Armenian Heritage or a tour to discover hidden mosques
We also operate tours in Ephesus and Canakkale because most of our customers continue their Turkey holidays in that direction.
-
We offer walking tours. Istanbul is a walking city, but if we need to, we use the tram and of course the ferries back and forth.
Please be prepared to walk an average of 3,000 to 12,000 steps a day depending on your itinerary.
However, in Canakkale and Ephesus, we do offer tours in a private vehicle because of the distances that are covered.
-
Our short tours are 2 to 4 hours. Our long tours are 6-9 hours depending on the itinerary that we cover.
We make frequent stops, at least once before lunch and once after lunch.
Lunch is generally an hour.
-
We may meet you personally at your accommodation or the cruise ship dock for private tours depending on its location.
Small-group shared tours start at a mutual/easy meeting point, which we advise when you book.
-
Absolutely. We are very experienced with senior travelers and enjoy your seasoned point of view on what we are offering.
-
We love children and pets. On private tours, they are welcome on any condition.
Please inquire about small-group shared tours.
We give a discount to children below 9 if they are accompanied by paying adults. Please carry their IDs for free admission tickets.
Infants between 0-2 ages are free.
-
You have full freedom on our private tours. We tailor each private tour individually. You tell us, and we do it. You can even change your mind on the day as we go.
A shared tour is a small group and these tours are set with less flexibility.
-
Our shared tours will have 2-12 people
-
